The Agency's whirlwind week in New England: a new office in Fairfield and a panel in Boston showcase its collaborative culture and East Coast growth.
When a brokerage grows as fast as The Agency, you might expect a few growing pains. But judging by the back-to-back events in Fairfield and Boston last week, this team knows how to scale without losing its soul.
Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky and President Rainy Hake Austin hit the road for a whirlwind tour of New England. They started in Connecticut and ended in Massachusetts, celebrating two milestones that show just how serious The Agency is about the East Coast.
### Fairfield: A New Office and a Lot of Heart
First stop: Fairfield, Connecticut. The team gathered to officially open the doors at 1636 Post Road. Managing Partners Donald Mastroianni and Michael Smith are at the helm, and they're ready to help buyers and sellers across the state.
The event kicked off with a ribbon cutting and a toast. Then everyone headed to Penfield Pavilion for a cocktail reception that had the dance floor packed by the end of the night.
It wasn't just the local crew. Leaders from The Agency New York and the marketing team joined in, including Juliet Clapp, Lesley Stern, and Laura Corrigan. Even the Managing Partners from the Narragansett office showed up to show support.
Agents John Caminiti, Aken “Moose” Musa, Courtney McManus, and Erin Melson were there too, surrounded by community members who came out in full force. The energy was contagious, and it was clear this new office is already making waves.
### Boston: Building What's Next
The next day, Mauricio and Rainy were in Boston with Managing Partner Jeremy Stivaletta. They hosted a panel called “Building What’s Next” at the legendary Big Night Live.
This wasn't your typical real estate networking event. It was about connecting with the broader business community, and more than 150 leaders from real estate, hospitality, and entrepreneurship showed up.
Jeremy moderated the panel, which included Mauricio, Jamie Pollock (COO of Big Night Entertainment Group), and Meaghan St. Marc (Co-Founder of Rev’d Indoor Cycling). They talked about growth, leadership, and what's next for Boston.
> "The best ideas come from outside your own industry," Mauricio shared during the panel. "That's why we're here—to learn from each other and build something bigger."
After the discussion, guests enjoyed cocktails and a live Chef Showdown. Local chefs Chris Viaud, Viviana Acevedo, and Peter Nguyen battled it out in the kitchen, while Lost My Balance kept the music going. The night ended with a VIP mixer at My Girl, a cozy cocktail bar.
### Why This Matters
These two events weren't just parties. They were a statement. The Agency is expanding, but it's doing it the right way—by building relationships and fostering a collaborative culture.
From the Constitution State to Massachusetts' capital, the message is clear: The Agency is here to stay, and it's just getting started.
For professionals in New England, this means more resources, more connections, and a team that genuinely cares about the communities it serves. And if the energy at these events is any indication, the future looks bright.
So keep an eye on The Agency. They're not just growing—they're growing together.
