Vail just got a new real estate player, and it's one with deep roots. The Agency has opened its seventh office in Colorado, joining Aspen, Boulder, Denver, Grand Junction, Steamboat Springs, and Telluride. But this isn't just another brokerage—it's a homecoming of sorts. ### A Dynamic Duo at the Helm Leading The Agency Vail are Managing Partner Adi Slifer and Managing Director Jason Cole. Slifer is Vail royalty: daughter of Rod Slifer, the town's first realtor and former mayor. Cole arrived in 2005 for a single ski season and never left, eventually becoming CEO of Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate. Together, they bring decades of local expertise and a shared vision. "Vail is one of the world's most iconic mountain destinations," says Mauricio Umansky, CEO and Founder of The Agency. "Adi's multigenerational connection to the Vail Valley makes her the ideal partner to lead this next chapter." Umansky himself attended school in Vail as a teenager, so this expansion feels personal. ### More Than Just Skiing Vail isn't just a winter wonderland. Tucked into the Gore Valley within the Rocky Mountains and White River National Forest, it's a year-round destination. Just two hours west of Denver, it offers world-class skiing, hiking, biking, and fishing, plus summer music and art festivals. The Vail Valley stretches from East Vail to Gypsum, offering understated luxury and small-town privacy. Real estate ranges from ski-in/ski-out condos in Vail Village to private estates in Beaver Creek and golf course communities in Eagle-Vail and Edwards. ### A Vision for the Future "Vail is a market with a remarkable history, but it is also a market that is continually evolving," says James Ramsay, EVP of The Agency's Franchise Division. "Adi and Jason bring an exceptional combination of heritage, market knowledge, and operational leadership." Adi Slifer adds, "Vail has always been home, and launching The Agency Vail is an opportunity to honor the values and relationships that have shaped this community for generations." The new office is located at 141 East Meadow Drive, Suite 204, Vail, CO 81657.
